Technical terms:

 

Giclee: Pronounced 'Gee’clay', is a French term coined by a printmaker called Jack Duganne in 1991.

It means to use special fade-resistant, archival inks (pigment-based), and archival media.

  • We have a  jaw-dropping 44" (1.1m wide) Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8400 Large Format printer. Using 12 colour LUCIA-EX ink it produces brilliant colour results that will not fade. Our machine is built to deliver the highest quality photo and fine art printing - which means nothing but the best for you and your artwork.

 

  • We can print on a huge array of premium media such as: Archival photo matte, gloss & silk 260gsm, Metallic pearl 255gsm, Optica Smooth & Textured, Hahnehmuhle Photo Rag - Fine Art Matt 308gsm.

 

  • Once your print is ready we can then offer you our framing service, so its all done in-house - no driving it from here to there and back again.

You can email us your photo from the comfort of your couch. We will then email you a preview (done by Vanessa herself, not an automated system) or you can pop into our studio to approve it instead in person.
