Hanging Service
We would hate to see your beautifully framed artwork or canvas just propped up against the wall waiting to be hung.
If you don't have that ladder, your artwork won't fit in your car or you are just not sure what fixings would be appropriate have a chat with us when you are in the studio and we can arrange delivery.

Graphic Design
Vanessa has been working as a Graphic Designer for the past 12 years after studying at AUT. Her eye for colour, accuracy, creativity and design brings that extra added value to Orewa Framing Studio.
She will still offer graphic design on its own, as well as incorporating her creativity into your frame or print.
Vanessa's background is in the corporate world as an in-house designer/marketing advisor for a global environmental and engineering firm - working locally and internationally with colleagues on many high profile jobs. She has also successfully run her freelance business 'Dragonfli Design' for the past 6 years, designing new logos and collateral for local businesses, bespoke invitations and creating the branding for several annual national conferences.
Re-glazing
If your artwork fell off the wall or got broken in a move don't despair, we can replace the glass for you.
We have different glazing options to suit your needs:
- 2mm clear
- Conservation clear 99% UV
- Ultra-vue 70% UV
- Museum quality 99% UV
- 3mm plexiglass, for over-sized pieces or earthquake prone cities
Photo Restoration
If you have an old photo that has seen better days, bring it in and we will get it back into ship-shape in no time! We can look after the scanning, restoration and then print and frame the photo for you too - ready for it to be proudly displayed on the wall again for another 50 years.
Warrant of Fitness
We will offer you a free 'check-up' and just make sure everything is looking good - this is especially important for your artwork if it has a high value (price or sentimental)
If you are worried about your artwork, but we didn't frame it - that's OK.
Bring it in for a check up and we can clean the glass and re-tape it for a small fee.
Here are some tips to make your artwork last the distance:
- Hang your artwork away from direct heat sources and direct light
- If you use a glass cleaner, spray it on the rag first, instead of directly onto the glass
The cheapest and most effective way of cleaning glass is actually just a wet chamois, soaked and wrung out in cold water,
clean the glass and follow with a dry cotton cloth - Dust the back of your artwork from time to time.
Scanning and Engraving
We can look after your scanning and engraving too, we didn't quite have the room for a flat bed scanner or engraver, but we have some top partners on board who will produce high quality results we (and you!) will be more than happy with.
