Canvas Stretching

 

We often get artwork brought in from every corner of the world, rolled up in a tube - to stretch onto frames and get them hung on your wall.

 

We will need to check the canvas to ensure the artist has left enough material to stretch/pull around the bar and this will determine what size frame we go with; 20, 30 or 40mm deep. We use a kiln dried NZ pine for our stretcher bar frame.

 

Sometimes the artist hasn't left much fabric… if this is the case we can offer an alternative such as blockmounting or putting a frame on top.

 

We can stretch or frame any size from 10 x 10cm to 2 x 2m and anything in-between.
